A Little About Me:

I’m Sandra. I’ve spent most of my life listening; to books, to people, to the quiet space between sentences. Proofing, for me, is a kind of music philosophy. I listen for rhythm, tone, and intention. I tune language the way a musician tunes an instrument: gently, precisely, without erasing its voice. If an instrument makes a sour note one can hear it instantly.  If a word is misplaced, misspelled or misused, in proofing, it’s the sour note needing to be retuned.

I didn’t follow a traditional path into editing. I followed the words. Over decades, I’ve learned how to hear what a sentence is trying to say, how to protect a writer’s cadence without sterilizing it, and how to clean up chaos without flattening meaning.

I’m here because I believe words matter.  If you’re looking for someone who listens before adjusting, who respects the work before refining it, and who understands that clarity doesn’t mean conformity, I’m here.
