Proofreading catches surface-level issues like typos, punctuation, and grammar. Editing dives deeper, refining clarity, flow, and structure while preserving your unique voice.
Do you offer transcription for handwritten notes or messy audio?
Yes. I work with scanned pages, rough audio, and everything in between. Tools like ExpressScribe and Dragon NaturallySpeaking help, but I always review manually for accuracy, collaborating with you if needed. I can’t judge the accuracy of complex formulae or concepts beyond my expertise, but I can get your words, numbers, and most symbols into digital form for your approval and correction.
Can you help with academic or technical writing in audio files?
Absolutely. I respect the integrity of your work and polish it without distorting meaning or tone.
Do you take on custom or unusual projects?
Yes. Whether it’s data tidying, review writing, or something off the beaten path, I’m open to creative collaboration; just ask.
File Submission
How do I send you my files?
Email works fine, or for larger files we can use Dropbox, Google Drive, or other similar methods. I accept Word docs, PDFs, audio files, image scans, and others. If you’re unsure, just ask.
Can I send multiple files or large projects?
Yes. For bigger projects, we’ll sort out the best format and method to keep things organized and secure.
Payment & Pricing
How do I pay you?
I accept payments through PayPal, and occasionally Venmo. Payment details are shared once we confirm your project.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit secures your spot and confirms our agreement. We’ll discuss the amount before starting.
Are rush fees ever applied?
Yes. Rush work typically starts at a 25% increase, depending on urgency. You’ll always know the rate before we begin.

Turnaround & Revisions
What’s your typical turnaround time?
It depends on the project. I’ll give you a realistic timeline upfront, and if anything shifts, I’ll keep you posted.
Do you offer rush services?

Can I request revisions?
Yes. Most projects include one round of revisions. If you need more, we’ll discuss scope and pricing.
Confidentiality & Ethics
Is my work confidential?
Always. Your files, ideas, and personal info stay private. I won’t share anything without your express permission.
Will you share or post my writing?
Never without your express written consent, and only for your reasons (like posting your review on our site if you desire, or at any other site). Posting any part of your actual work would be a gross violation of ethics. Any posting pertains only to a review I write for you. Your work is yours forever, and that is immutable.
Do you work with sensitive or unpublished material?
Yes. I understand the need for discretion and handle all materials with care and confidentiality.
